这条河的名字叫典农河，从银川市永宁县蜿蜒流入，映照着两岸斑斓的秋色，流淌着人与河流共生的故事。

This river, named the Diannong River, winds it way from Yongning County into the embrace of Yinchuan, mirroring the autumn colors along the banks and carrying the story of the coexistence between humans and the river itself.

这个季节，正是这条河最丰富的时节。白菜舒展着翡翠般的叶片，在秋阳下抱紧饱满的心事；红薯藏了一季的甜蜜，此刻破土而出。这片被河水滋养的沃土，也迎来了从山东远道而来的老板，他认准了这里细而深的沙土，将山药根苗深深埋进典农河岸边土地里。当山东的技术邂逅宁夏的风土，结出的是一方乡土的甘甜产物。

This season, is the harvest season for the river. Cabbages stretche out their jade-green leaves, clutching their plump hearts under the autumn sun; sweet potatoes, having stored up sweetness all season, now emerge from the soil. This fertile land, nourished by the river, has also welcomed a business owner from faraway Shandong. Recognizing the fine, deep sandy soil here, he buried the root seedlings of Chinese yam deep into the land along the banks of the Diannong River. When Shandong's techniques meet Ningxia's terroir, what springs forth is its own sweet nectar.

收获的山药地里，挖掘机带着特制的排铲缓缓开沟，工人们手持特制铲，顺着轨迹探入土中。铁器与沙土摩擦出沙沙的声响，那是大地最深处的密语。

In the harvested yam field, the excavator, equipped with a specialized plow attachment, cut a furrow slowly. Workers, wielding specially designed shovels, followed its path, probing deep into the soil. The soft, scraping whisper of metal against sandy soil was the deep, whispered secrets of the earth.

一根根 “铁棍”被小心翼翼地提起，表皮还带着新出土的细沙，毛根上沾着典农河滋养的痕迹，此刻，山药便完成了生长。它们被熟练的分拣、整齐摆放，在秋阳下散发着泥土的芬芳。

One by one, the "iron rods" were carefully lifted, their skins still dusted with fresh earth, their root hairs bearing traces of the nourishment from the Diannong River. At this moment, the yams had completed their growth. They were skillfully sorted and neatly arranged, releasing the earthy fragrance under the autumn sun.

在这支收获的队伍里，余继芳的身影格外醒目。这位从泾源县移民到银川的女子，如今，每天开着车，载着五六个同样移民过来的姐妹，穿梭在典农河两岸的田间地头，务工挣钱。

Among the harvesters, Yu Jifang cuts a striking figure. Having relocated from Jingyuan County in Guyuan to Yinchuan, she now navigates the fields along both banks of the Diannong River with a carload of fellow migrant women, forging a living from the land.

她们每天要在这条370米长的地垄上往返十几次。比起在老家时靠天吃饭的日子，如今每天150元的稳定收入，让她们脸上总是挂着幸福的笑容。典农河畔，无数个如余继芳的人们正书写着平凡而闪光的生活。

They make over a dozen trips each day along this 370-meter-long field ridge. Compared to their old lives back home, which were at the mercy of the elements, the stable daily income of 150 yuan now keeps a happy smile on their faces. Along the banks of the Diannong River, countless individuals like Yu Jifang are living lives that are ordinary yet shining.

河流的馈赠，远不止于此。烟火人间，垂钓的闲情，骑行的洒脱，孩童的笑语，露营的惬意……温润流淌的典农河，串联起生态与生计，融合了诗意与远方。
